Local acceptance checklist

First pilot: native orders only

Split fulfillment is disabled for this local pilot. Use the existing WooCommerce order and its separate US/CN line items, historical source promises, manual refund and cancellation controls.

An on-hold sample order does not mean funds have been collected or goods have shipped. This trial records no parcel events and sends no real payments, emails or carrier requests. Do not enable split fulfillment or run research prototypes on this pilot.

This checklist is for the local neutral sample store. Use synthetic data only. No funds, email or parcels are sent.

Customer walkthrough

  1. Open Samples and compare US/CN prices, availability and dispatch estimates.
  2. Choose one United States source and one China source on Sample Product A, then open Cart. Confirm two separate lines, their source promises and a $210 sample total.
  3. Open native checkout. Use Local Tester, local-tester@example.invalid, 1 Test Avenue, New York, NY 10001, United States, and 2125550100. These are test values.
  4. Select “Local test — no funds collected,” review the source and current total, and submit once. Do not transfer funds.
  5. Confirm the received order shows both source promises. With the supplied local customer account, open My account → Orders and review only your own orders.
  6. Return to the product. The independently stocked last US sample should show unavailable after its on-hold order; CN availability remains separate.

Operator walkthrough

The operator uses the existing local WordPress admin login; the customer login cannot access order management.

  1. Open Native order management and choose the new test order number.
  2. Check the read-only Historical source promise panel: country, warehouse and original dispatch/price terms.
  3. For a CN item test, click Refund, choose a quantity and the original order amount, and select whether to restock. Use the manual refund button only. This records no real money movement.
  4. Verify only the selected CN quantity is returned when restock is checked. A refund without restock must not increase stock.
  5. Cancel the remaining order through native status controls. Verify only the remaining reduced stock is restored; repeated cancellation must not increase stock again.

Repeat safely

Before the next run, restore designated test orders through native cancellation/refund operations and inspect native variation stock. Do not bypass existing orders by directly resetting stock counts.

Record the result

Give the operator the page/order number, selected source, expected result and actual result. Record screenshots with synthetic data only. The repository human-local-acceptance.md contains the editable acceptance checklist and account entry details.

What this test does not validate
